Submission Guidelines

All new businesses are reviewed after submission and must include either an image or a website. To be considered for approval, a business must:

• Have a physical storefront*
• Be located in the geographic region outlined in the Contest Rules
• Legitimately provide services or specialization within an existing category

Note: Businesses may only compete in one category during the contest period. Requests for alternative contest categories may only be submitted by business owners.

* Exceptions include some businesses in the Auto, Pets, and Wedding sections.

New business submissions may take several business days to be reviewed.

Photo Guidelines

When you post photos to CityVoter's website (the "Site") you are acknowledging and agreeing to this photo policy (the "Policy"). By posting a photo to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, to the Company, perpetual, non-exclusive, and worldwide license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, publicly display, reformat and distribute such photo for any purpose on or in connection with the Site or the promotion thereof, to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such photo.

1. Any photo containing nudity, pornography, sexually explicit images or any copyrighted image (unless you own the copyright) or any other illegal or otherwise objectionable content is not permitted. Photos of celebrities and cartoon or comic images are generally copyrighted by the owner and should not be posted to the Site.
2. You agree not to use the Service in violation of this Policy or for illegal purposes or for the transmission of material that is unlawful, harassing, libelous (untrue and damaging to others), invasive of another's privacy, abusive, threatening, or obscene, or that infringes the personal or proprietary rights of others. For security and privacy reasons, any photo that contains personally identifiable contact information such as name, phone number, email address or web site URL is not permitted. Uploading images of other people without their permission is also prohibited.
3. Submitted photos can be in GIF, Tiff, PNG, or JPG format.

Although we are not obligated to do so, CityVoter reviews all photos and will remove (without notice) any photo that it deems to be in appropriate at anytime at its sole discretion. Users of CityVoter are encouraged to notify us at contact@private.cityvoter.com if you believe you've seen a photo that does not conform to this Policy.
